The difference between wearing spaghetti strap top, jeans, a kokopelli pendant on a black leather choker and black beaded bracelet in One Utama and Petaling Street is:
you’ll look stylish in One Utama, and
people think you’re a prostitute in Petaling Street.
What’s wrong with the people there?? Argh.

i was standing in front of maybank, opposite pasar seni lrt station with my cousin, waiting for jeannie. my cousin wore pink racerback and short brown skirt. while waiting, we has a lot of weird stares from passers-by. women frowned and men leered.
yuck. =x
jeannie sorta saved us when she appeared. she dressed more ‘decently’ than us.. black blouse and jeans. she looked cooler too, with shades on.
maybe it has something to do with the colour of my top. i wore lots of black. should’ve worn floral prints or brighter colours. =p
its frustrating.
That’s why its such a stark contrast when I checked out this street fair recently. See the last pic on my latest blog. I think if someone wore that in Petaling St, people would freak
